Care4BrittleBones Foundation strives for full transparency. We believe that everyone who works together with us in support of research for OI (as a volunteer, donor or in any other way) has the right to know how our foundation is set up, how we work and what happens to the funds we are raising.

Goals

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of people with Osteogenesis Imperfecta through scientific research.
The foundation carries out the following activities to achieve its goal:
1. Raising funds;
2. Financing research and activities related to research;
3. Contributing to impactful research by developing priorities and strategies for improving Osteogenesis Imperfecta, supporting collaboration and sharing knowledge about Osteogenesis Imperfecta and supporting research in the broadest sense of the word;
4. Informing relevant target groups.

ANBI / CBF

The Care4BrittleBones Foundation is recognized as a charitable organization (ANBI) in the Netherlands.
Stichting Care4BrittleBones is also a CBF – approved charity (Centraal Beheer Fondsenwerving), which implies an annual review of governance, transparency, controls and other important standards.

Remuneration policy

The foundation only works with volunteers with one exception. The director receives a remuneration based on the remuneration scheme of the sector association ” Goede Doelen Nederland”. Care4BrittleBones is a member of that organisation.
