We hope this newsletter finds you well! In this edition of the newsletter we are very excited to give you a first idea about 2 of our brand-new projects: The Conference about “QualityofLife4OI” which will be held in Amsterdam in November 2019 and the “Expert opinion on Good clinical practice”.
Did you ever wonder, why the bones of people with OI are so brittle? Prof. R. Bank of the University of Groningen has dived deep into this topic. Learn more about what happens in the bone in this scientific article for the OI-community.
In June, we have seen an unprecedented number of amazing fundraisers. We love it, when people dare to go outside of their “comfort zone” to raise funds for OI! It creates unforgettable moments for themselves and everyone around them. Enjoy the latest updates on some of these inspirational events and consider organizing one yourself! We are here to help you. And we know how it works: We just realized we have raised 1 Mio Euros of funds for OI-research since we started the foundation. We’ll start webinars on fundraising soon. Find out below, how you can join!
