Proposal Round 2020 – next steps
The Proposal Round this year is focused on basic science. 25 proposals have been received, many of them demonstrating international cooperation, which is great!
68 researchers from 16 countries are participating. Our Advisory Board is reviewing the proposals. Researchers will know by end of July, who is invited to join Round 2 after the summer.
The submission deadline has passed, you are no longer able to submit your proposal
Dear Researchers and Healthcare providers supporting the OI-community,
We very much appreciate your dedicated work for people with OI. We are pleased to inform you, that we are opening a new research proposal round.
In this round the focus will be on basic research in the widest sense (as opposed to clinical research). Our Foundation is equally committed to both areas.
We are keen to support research that will (potentially) lead to the most impact on quality of life for people with OI in the long run. We are known for our support to international collaborative projects.
Please find below the background information. The process is exactly like in previous years: A first round with relatively little information before the summer. Based on this information we will select a few proposals which can submit their application in the second and final round. The first round proposals are due on 30 June.
Proposals need to be submitted in our online form: https://www.formdesk.com/care4brittlebones/Proposal_round_2020_1. The online template is now open.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
